Eligibility for NCHMCT JEE
To meet the eligibility criteria for the NCHMCT exam 2020, students must:
- Pass their 10 + 2 Senior Secondary Exam and any other such equivalent examination.
- Have English and clear it as one of their subjects in their 10+2 exam.
- It has an upper age limit of 25 years for the general and OBC students and an upper age limit of 28 years for SC and ST students.
- A Student must have a physical fitness certificate which is sanctioned by a registered medical practitioner.
Paper Details
The NCHMCT is an entrance exam for hotel management. The bilingual test paper is answerable in any language with the questions being in either English or Hindi; excluding the English section, which will be an exception.
The paper has negative markings. So if a candidate gets an answer wrong, then there is a penalization.
The exam time is a total of 3 hours, within which the candidates must complete all the answers.
The paper is of a multiple-choice questionnaire with a total of 200 questions each divided into different sections focusing on different areas like reasoning and logical deduction, aptitude for service sector, English language numerical aptitude and analytical ability and general knowledge and current affairs.
Application
Candidates who wish to apply for the NCHMCT exam 2020 can apply for it online by visiting the official NCT website. After registering themselves for the exam, the candidates can proceed to fill out the necessary details in the application form for the examination.
The application steps are as follows:
- Step 1: Register in the official NCT website.
- Step 2: Fill the application form for the NCHMCT exam 2020 with the relevant information including the type of test, choice of language for the question paper, name, gender, nationality, father’s and mother’s name and individual marks in class 10 and class 12 respectively.
- Step 3: Upload scanned digital copies of the photo and signature of the candidate who is applying.
- Step 4: pay the stipulated fee that is relevant to the group the candidate belongs (general/ SC/ ST/ OBC).
